Description
CACNG8 Antibody (N-term) [APR30815G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: M
Specificity: This CACNG8 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 90-119 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CACNG8.
Cellular Localisation: Cell membrane {ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:Q8VHW2}; Multi-pass membrane protein. Cell junction, synapse, postsynaptic density membrane {ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:Q8VHW2}
Molecular Weight: 43313
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: CACNG8
Gene ID: 59283
Function: Regulates the activity of L-type calcium channels that contain CACNA1C as pore-forming subunit (By similarity) . Regulates the trafficking and gating properties of AMPA-selective glutamate receptors (AMPARs) . Promotes their targeting to the cell membrane and synapses and modulates their gating properties by slowing their rates of activation, deactivation and desensitization and by mediating their resensitization. Does not show subunit-specific AMPA receptor regulation and regulates all AMPAR subunits.
Summary: Tissue Location: Detected in heart left ventricle.
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB, IHC-P
Dilution: WB--1:500
Synonyms: Voltage-dependent calcium channel gamma-8 subunit, Neuronal voltage-gated calcium channel gamma-8 subunit, Transmembrane AMPAR regulatory protein gamma-8, TARP gamma-8, CACNG8, CACNG6
