Description
CDC23 Antibody (N-term) [APR05774G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This CDC23 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 140-168 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CDC23.
Cellular Localisation: N/A
Molecular Weight: 68834
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: CDC23
Gene ID: 8697
Function: Component of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls progression through mitosis and the G1 phase of the cell cycle. The APC/C complex acts by mediating ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of target proteins: it mainly mediates the formation of 'Lys-11'-linked polyubiquitin chains and, to a lower extent, the formation of 'Lys-48'- and 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains.
Summary: N/A
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB, IHC-P
Dilution: WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500
Synonyms: Cell division cycle protein 23 homolog, Anaphase-promoting complex subunit 8, APC8, Cyclosome subunit 8, CDC23, ANAPC8
