Background: CesA7 (IRX3) is a catalytic subunit of xylem-specific cellulose synthase, involved in secondary cell wall biosynthesis - cellulose synthase trerminal complexes. It interacts with CESA4 and CESA8 which is required for a functyional complex and localization in secondary cell wall deposition sites. Occurs in secondary cell wall developing tissues such as xylems and interfascicular regions in young plants stems and flowers. Not expressed in leaves, roots and shoots. Synonymes: Protein IRREGULAR XYLEM 3, IRX3, Protein FRAGILE FIBER 5.

Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 50 µl of sterile water

Storage: Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
