Description
CHPF Antibody (Center) [APR32642G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H, M
Specificity: This CHPF antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 327-354 amino acids from the Central region of human CHPF.
Cellular Localisation: [Isoform 1]: Golgi apparatus, Golgi stack membrane; Single-pass type II membrane protein. Cytoplasm, cytosol [Isoform 2]: Mitochondrion matrix
Molecular Weight: 85467
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: CHPF
Gene ID: 79586
Function: Has both beta-1, 3-glucuronic acid and beta-1, 4-N- acetylgalactosamine transferase activity. Transfers glucuronic acid (GlcUA) from UDP-GlcUA and N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) from UDP- GalNAc to the non-reducing end of the elongating chondroitin polymer. Isoform 2 may facilitate PRKN transport into the mitochondria. In collaboration with PRKN, isoform 2 may enhance cell viability and protect cells from oxidative stress.
Summary: Tissue Location: Ubiquitous. Highly expressed in pancreas, ovary, brain, heart, skeletal muscle, colon, kidney, liver, stomach, spleen and placenta. Isoform 3 is also ubiquitous. Isoform 2 is expressed in brain, spleen, ovary, testis, lung and peripheral mononuclear cells
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB, IHC-P, FC
Dilution: WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500 FC--1:10~50
