Description
Daltroban is an antagonist of thromboxane A2 receptor. Daltroban (20 mg/kg per h i.v.) protects the myocardium from ischaemic injury by preventing ischaemia-induced leukocytosis in cats. Infusion (1 mg/kg) of daltroban as a bolus results in a significantly lower necrotic area expressed as a percentage of the myocardial area-at-risk in cats.
