Description
Dithranol is a leukotriene biosynthesis inhibitor. It inhibits LTB4 ω-oxidation and disrupts mitochondria function. Dithranol is highly effective in the treatment of psoriasis. The drug inhibits keratinocyte hyperproliferation, granulocyte function and, in addition, may exert an immunosuppressive effect.
