Description
DUT Antibody (C-term) [APR31214G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This DUT antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 170-198 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human DUT.
Cellular Localisation: [Isoform 2]: Nucleus
Molecular Weight: 26563
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: DUT
Gene ID: 1854
Function: This enzyme is involved in nucleotide metabolism: it produces dUMP, the immediate precursor of thymidine nucleotides and it decreases the intracellular concentration of dUTP so that uracil cannot be incorporated into DNA.
Summary: Tissue Location: Found in a variety of tissues. Isoform 3 expression is constitutive, while isoform 2 expression correlates with the onset of DNA replication (at protein level) . Isoform 2 degradation coincides with the cessation of nuclear DNA replication (at protein level)
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: IHC-P, WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500
Synonyms: Deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate nucleotidohydrolase, mitochondrial, dUTPase, dUTP pyrophosphatase, DUT
