Description
ERF3B Antibody (Center) [APR32725G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H, M
Specificity: This ERF3B antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 216-245 amino acids from the Central region of human ERF3B.
Cellular Localisation: Cytoplasm.
Molecular Weight: 68883
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: GSPT2
Gene ID: 23708
Function: Involved in translation termination in response to the termination codons UAA, UAG and UGA. May play a role as a potent stimulator of the release factor activity of ETF1. Exhibits GTPase activity, which is ribosome- and ETF1-dependent. May play a role in cell cycle progression. Component of the transient SURF complex which recruits UPF1 to stalled ribosomes in the context of nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) of mRNAs containing premature stop codons.
Summary: Tissue Location: Highly expressed in IUCC stage II colorectal cancer (CRC) .
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000
Synonyms: Eukaryotic peptide chain release factor GTP-binding subunit ERF3B, Eukaryotic peptide chain release factor subunit 3b, eRF3b, G1 to S phase transition protein 2 homolog, GSPT2, ERF3B
