Description
FAAH polyclonal Antibody | BS6210 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat
Application: WB
Application Range: WB 1:500 - 1:2000
Background: Degrades bioactive fatty acid amides like oleamide, the endogenous levels of cannabinoid, anandamide and myristic amide to their corresponding acids, thereby serving to terminate the signaling functions of these molecules. Hydrolyzes polyunsaturated substrate anandamide preferentially as compared to monounsaturated substrates.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: FAAH polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of FAAH protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 63 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Anandamide amidohydrolase 1; Anandamide amidohydrolase; FA2H; FAAH; FAAH-1; FAAH1; Fatty acid 2-hydroxylase; Fatty acid alpha-hydroxylase; Fatty acid amide hydrolase; Fatty-acid amide hydrolase 1; MGC102823; MGC138146; Oleamide hydrolase 1; Oleamide hydrolase;
Immunogen: Recombinant full length Human FAAH.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Unmodification
Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
