Background: FBP aldolase (FBP) is an enzyme (EC=4.1.2.13) which is catalyzing the aldol condensation of of dihydroxyacetone phosphate (DHAP or glycerone-phosphate) with glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (G3P) to form fructose 1, 6-bisphosphate (FBP) in gluconeogenesis and the reverse reaction in glycolysis. It belongs to class II fructose-bisphosphate aldolase family. Alternative names: FBPA, fructose-1, 6-bisphosphate aldolase, fructose-bisphosphate aldolase class II.

Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 50 µl of sterile water

Storage: Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
