Description

FCGRT & B2M Heterodimer | E21-I01 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Short Description: Recombinant Human IgG Fc fragment receptor transporter is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Ala24-Leu290&Ile21-Met119 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.

Shipping: Ambient

Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 m filtered solution of 50mM HEPES, 150mM Nacl, pH7.4.

Storage: Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.
Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7C for 2-7 days.
Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20C for 3 months.

Reconstitution: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting.
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 g /ml.
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in ddH2O.
Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

Purity: Greater than 95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.

Endotoxin: Less than 0.1 ng/g (1 IEU/g) as determined by LAL test.

Background: FcRn complex consist of two subunits: IgG receptor FcRn large subunit p51alpha chain) and Beta-2-microglobulinBeta chain) . The complexes is similar in structure to MHC class I-like heterodimer. Beta-2-microglobulin involved in the presentation of peptide antigens to the immune system. FcRn binds to the Fc region of monomeric immunoglobulins gamma, mediates the uptake of IgG from milk, Possible role in transfer of immunoglobulin G from mother to fetus. A principal component of antibody transport is the neonatal receptor for the Fc portion of immunoglobulin, a heterodimer of a MHC-1 alpha-chain homolog ( FcRn ) and beta-2-microglobulin ( B2M ) .
