Description
FHIT polyclonal Antibody | BS6237 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat
Application: WB IHC
Application Range: WB 1:500 - 1:2000 IHC 1:50 - 1:200
Background: FHIT (fragile histidine triad) cleaves adenosine 5' PPP 5' A to yield AMP and ADP. Alterations and deletions of the FHIT gene are strongly linked to the genesis and establishment of human tumors of the lung, cervix, breast, colon, stomach and pancreas. In normal cells, FHIT may act as a tumor suppressor. FHIT physically associates with ubiquitin conjugating enzyme 9.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: FHIT polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of FHIT protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 17 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Bis (5'-adenosyl) -triphosphatase; AP3A hydrolase; AP3Aase; Diadenosine 5',5'''-P1,P3-triphosphate hydrolase; Dinucleosidetriphosphatase; Fragile histidine triad protein; FHIT
Immunogen: Recombinant full length Human FHIT.
