Description
FPR1 Antibody (Center) [APR04189G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This FPR1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 165-193 amino acids from the Central region of human FPR1.
Cellular Localisation: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Note=Internalizes in presence of its ligand, TAFA4
Molecular Weight: 38446
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: FPR1
Gene ID: 2357
Function: High affinity receptor for N-formyl-methionyl peptides (fMLP), which are powerful neutrophil chemotactic factors (PubMed:2161213, PubMed:2176894, PubMed:10514456, PubMed:15153520) . Binding of fMLP to the receptor stimulates intracellular calcium mobilization and superoxide anion release (PubMed:2161213, PubMed:1712023, PubMed:15153520) . This response is mediated via a G- protein that activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system (PubMed:1712023, PubMed:10514456) . Receptor for TAFA4, mediates its effects on chemoattracting macrophages, promoting phagocytosis and increasing ROS release (PubMed:25109685) .
Summary: Tissue Location: Neutrophils.
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000
