Description

GENLISA™ Mouse Anti-SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) IgG Antibody to Spike RBD protein Quantitative TITRATION ELISA | KBVH015-13 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

ELISA for the quantification of IgG Antibodies to COVID-19 Spike RBD Protein specifically in mouse serum and plasma. Ships in 2 days.

Intended Use: The GENLISA™ Mouse Anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG Antibody to spike RBD protein Quantitative ELISA kit is used as an analytical tool for quantitative estimation of Anti-SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV) Spike RBD IgG antibodies in mouse serum or plasma.

Mouse ELISA in COVID-19 Vaccine Development: During vaccine development, pre-clinical stages of testing must include animal model studies. These may begin on mice, rats, or hamsters, and move on to larger animals like horses and monkeys, before getting approved for clinical testing. Using a standardized, commerical ELISA for these quantifications allows researchers to saves both time and money, and ensures reproducible, accurate results.

This range of mouse ELISA is currently being used for pre-clinical assessment and validation of vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 including:
- Selection of a novel candidate

- Immunization studies

- Titration of antibodies

- Toxicology

- Other in-vitro studies including dosage, route of immunization etc

These specifically designed Mouse COVID-19 ELISA can be used for different kinds of vaccines being developed in the industry - specific for S1, S2 or RBD; both mRNA based, and DNA based. Users of this ELISA include some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the US and in India.

Principle of the assay:

The method employs indirect sandwich ELISA technique. SARS-CoV-2 Spike RBD-His Recombinant protein is pre-coated onto microwells. Samples and standards are pipetted into microwells and Antibodies to Mouse Anti-SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV) present in the sample are bound by the protein antigen. After incubation the wells are washed and followed by addition of HRP-conjugated Detection IgG Antibody into each well and incubated to form a complex. After washing microwells in order to remove any non-specific binding, the substrate solution (TMB) is added to microwells and color develops proportionally to the amount of AntiMouse Anti-SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV) in the sample. Color development is then stopped by addition of stop solution. Absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Krishgen is one of the only companies worldwide currently offering the Mouse Coronavirus ELISA. The assay uses highly specific antibody pairs for detection and coating, with proprietary stabilisers and blockers for optimal noise:signal ratio. With large production batches available, the kits have lot to lot consistency, and can be customised to your assay range or sensitivity requirements through our custom development team.
