Description
GLUD1 Antibody (C-term) [APR30827G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H, M
Specificity: This GLUD1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 438-465 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human GLUD1.
Cellular Localisation: Mitochondrion. Endoplasmic reticulum. Note=Mostly translocates into the mitochondria, only a small amount of the protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum.
Molecular Weight: 61398
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: GLUD1
Gene ID: 2746
Function: Mitochondrial glutamate dehydrogenase that catalyzes the conversion of L-glutamate into alpha-ketoglutarate. Plays a key role in glutamine anaplerosis by producing alpha-ketoglutarate, an important intermediate in the tricarboxylic acid cycle (PubMed:11032875, PubMed:16959573, PubMed:11254391, PubMed:16023112) . Plays a role in insulin homeostasis (PubMed:9571255, PubMed:11297618) . May be involved in learning and memory reactions by increasing the turnover of the excitatory neurotransmitter glutamate (By similarity) .
Summary: N/A
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB, IHC-P
Dilution: WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500
Synonyms: Glutamate dehydrogenase 1, mitochondrial, GDH 1, GLUD1, GLUD
