Description
Goat Anti-Bovine Catalase IgG Polyclonal Antibody | AB0245 | Antibodies
Overview: Goat polyclonal antibody to Catalase – peroxisome marker. Catalase is a tetramer consisting of 4 equal subunits each with a 60 kDa molecular weight. It is an antioxidant enzyme present in the peroxisomes of aerobic cells and protects cells from the toxic effects of hydrogen peroxide. Oxidative stress is hypothesized to play a role in the development of many chronic or late-onset diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, asthma, cancer, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, auto-immune diseases, etc.
