GROγ (N177) polyclonal Antibody | BS2838 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human

Application: IHC

Application Range: IHC: 1:50~1:200

Background: Growth Regulated Protein gamma (GRO gamma) is a cytokine that may play a role in inflammation and affects endothelial cells in an autocrine fashion. It belongs to the intercrine alpha family (small cytokine c-x-c) (chemokine cxc) .Rat CINC2 beta (Cytokine Induced Neutrophil Chemoattractant 2 beta) is a member of the CXC subfamily of chemokines which also includes three other rat CXC chemokines (CINC1, CINC2 alpha, CINC3/MIP2) . The rat chemokines CINC show sequence similarity to human GROs and mouse MIP2 but not IL8. Mature CINC2 beta shares 63% amino acid sequence identity with CINC1 and 80% identity to CINC3. Rat CINC2 beta cDNA encodes a 68 amino acid residue protein. The mature recombinant protein has a predicted molecular mass of approximately 7.6 kDa. Based on sequence homology, it has been suggested that CINCs are the rat counterpart of the human GROs.

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: GROγ (N177) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of GROγ protein.

Molecular Weight: ~ 11 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
