Description

HABP2 Antibody (C-term) [APR05667G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies

Host: Rabbit

Species Reactivity: H, M

Specificity: This HABP2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 378-408 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human HABP2.

Cellular Localisation: Secreted. Note=Secreted as an inactive single-chain precursor and is then activated to a heterodimeric form

Molecular Weight: 62672

Clone: Polyclonal

Gene Name: HABP2

Gene ID: 3026

Function: Cleaves the alpha-chain at multiple sites and the beta-chain between 'Lys-53' and 'Lys-54' but not the gamma-chain of fibrinogen and therefore does not initiate the formation of the fibrin clot and does not cause the fibrinolysis directly. It does not cleave (activate) prothrombin and plasminogen but converts the inactive single chain urinary plasminogen activator (pro-urokinase) to the active two chain form. Activates coagulation factor VII (PubMed:8827452, PubMed:10754382, PubMed:11217080) . May function as a tumor suppressor negatively regulating cell proliferation and cell migration (PubMed:26222560) .

Summary: Tissue Location: Ubiquitously expressed.

Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Application: IHC-P, WB

Dilution: WB--1:1000-1:2000
