Description
HN1 Antibody (Center) [APR04016G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This HN1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 58-86 amino acids from the Central region of human HN1.
Cellular Localisation: Nucleus. Cytoplasm
Molecular Weight: 16015
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: JPT1 (HGNC:14569)
Gene ID: 51155
Function: Modulates negatively AKT-mediated GSK3B signaling (PubMed:21323578, PubMed:22155408) . Induces CTNNB1 'Ser-33' phosphorylation and degradation through the suppression of the inhibitory 'Ser-9' phosphorylation of GSK3B, which represses the function of the APC:CTNNB1:GSK3B complex and the interaction with CDH1/E-cadherin in adherent junctions (PubMed:25169422) . Plays a role in the regulation of cell cycle and cell adhesion (PubMed:25169422, PubMed:25450365) . Has an inhibitory role on AR-signaling pathway through the induction of receptor proteosomal degradation (PubMed:22155408) .
Summary: Tissue Location: Expressed in testis, skeletal muscle, thymus, prostate, colon, peripheral blood cells, brain and placenta
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
