Description
hnRNP K (phospho-S284) polyclonal Antibody | BS4805 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat
Application: WB
Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000
Background: The majority of hnRNP proteins components are localized to the nucleus; however some shuttle between the nucleus and the cytoplasm, such as hnRNP K. hnRNP K, a 65 kDa protein, recruits a variety of molecular partners through two K homologous (KH) domains, which are required for protein-protein interactions. hnRNP K also contains several potential phosphorylation sites, including Ser 302, the major site of PKCd phosphorylation, which are thought to regulate various cellular functions, including sequence-specific DNA binding, transcription, RNA binding and nucleocytoplasmic shuttling.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: p-hnRNP K (S284) pAb detects endogenous levels of hnRNP K protein only when phosphorylated at Ser284.
Molecular Weight: ~ 58 to 62 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K; hnRNP K; Transformation up-regulated nuclear protein; TUNP; HNRNPK; HNRPK
Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human hnRNP K around the phosphorylation site of Serine 284
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Phosphorylation
Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
Pathway: Wntβ catenin signaling,Contribution of ECM and Cytoskeletal Factors to EMT,
