Background: Histone H3-like centromeric protein HTR12 replaces formal H3 in the nucleosome core of centromeric chromatin at the inner plate of the kinetochore. It is required for the assembly of kinetochore proteins, mitotic progression and chromosome segregation. Localized at centromeres in both m itotic and meiotic cells. Synonymes: CENH3
Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 100 µl of sterile water
Storage: Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube. Store reconstituted antibodies at 4°C for short period or at -20°C for extended time. Shelf life is 6 monthss from date of receipt.
