Test Principale: This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate WNT7A in samples. An antibody specific for WNT7A has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyWNT7A present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for WNT7A is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of WNT7A bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

These proteins have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. This gene is involved in the development of the anterior-posterior axis in the female reproductive tract, and also plays a critical role in uterine smooth muscle pattering and maintenance of adult uterine function.The WNT7A gene not only guides the development of the anterior-posterior axis in the female reproductive tract, but also plays a critical role in uterine smooth muscle pattering and maintenance of adult uterine function. WNT7A is also responsive to changes in the levels of sex steroid hormone in the female reproductive tract.

Stability: The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
