Description

IL-22 (Human) ELISA Kit | E5063-100

Description: Interleukin-22 (IL-22) belongs to the IL-10 family cytokine that is produced by T helper 17 cells, γδ T cells, NKT cells, and innate lymphoid cells (ILCs). IL-22 biological activity is initiated by binding to a cell-surface complex composed of IL-22R1 and IL-10R2 receptor chains and further regulated by interactions with a soluble binding protein, IL-22BP. It is involved in the development of lymphocytes and serves as a rapid and early source of the effector cytokines that are released in response to pathogen-induced changes in the microenvironment. IL-22 has been increasingly recognized as a promising therapeutic option for various types of diseases. ’s IL-22 (Human) ELISA Kit is used for the quantitative detection of IL-22 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. It is based on the principle of sandwich ELISA. The capture antibody is pre-coated on 96-well plates. The standards, test samples andtin conjugated detection antibody are added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin is added and unbound conjugates are washed away with wash buffer. The HRP enzymatic reaction is detected using TMB-substrate. Finally, an acidic stop solution terminates the enzymatic reaction. The color developed is directly proportional to the amount of IL-22 in the sample.
