Description

IL15RA (Human) ELISA Kit | E5071-100

Description: Interleukin 15 receptor, alpha subunit (IL15RA) is a subunit of the interleukin 15 receptor which is composed of three subunits IL-15R alpha, CD122, and CD132. IL15RA is a high-affinity receptor for interleukin-15 and is capable of binding IL-15 independently of other subunits. In neutrophils, it binds and activates kinase SYK in response to IL15 stimulation. IL15RA is an important component of interleukin-15 pro-inflammatory signaling. This receptor is reported to enhance cell proliferation and expression of apoptosis inhibitor BCL2L1/BCL2-XL and BCL2. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been reported. The full-length sequences of only two variants encoding distinct isoforms are available. IL15RA plays an important cell-autonomous role in osteoblast function and bone mineralization. ’s IL15RA (Human) ELISA Kit is used for the quantitative detection of IL15RA in serum, plasma, tissue homogates and other biological fluids. It is based on the principle of sandwich ELISA. The capture antibody is pre-coated on 96-well plates. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody are added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin is added and unbound conjugates are washed away with wash buffer. The HRP enzymatic reaction is detected using TMB-substrate. Finally, an acidic stop solution terminates the enzymatic reaction. The color developed is directly proportional to the amount of IL15RA in the sample.
