Description

IL7R (Human) ELISA Kit | E5068-100

Description: Interleukin-7 receptor (IL7R) is a heterodimer protein found on the surface of cells. It consists of two subunits, interleukin-7 receptor-α (CD127) and common-γ chain receptor (CD132). It also acts as a receptor for thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP). Interleukin-7 receptor plays a critical role in the development of immune cells called lymphocytes. IL7R is crucial for T cell development and important for immune competence. Functional defects in this protein may be associated with the pathogenesis of severe combined immunodeficiency. IL7R network reflected by gene expression levels in blood may be involved in the rate of ageing and health status of elderly individuals. IL7R mutations may contribute to the development of diverse types of acute leukemias. ’s IL7R (Human) ELISA Kit is used for the quantitative detection of IL7R in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. It is based on the principle ofdwich ELISA. The capture antibody is pre-coated on 96-well plates. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody are added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin is added and unbound conjugates are washed away with wash buffer. The HRP enzymatic reaction is detected using TMB-substrate. Finally, an acidic stop solution terminates the enzymatic reaction. The color developed is directly proportional to the amount of IL7R in the sample.
