Description
A cell-permeable indole derivative that acts as an antioxidant and mitochondrial metabolism modifier. IPAM binds to the rate-limiting component of oxidative phosphorylation in complex I of the respiratory chain and acts as a stabilizer of energy metabolism, thereby reducing the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS).
