Description
JFD00244 is an inhibitor of SIRT2. SIRT2 is a NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide)-dependent deacetylase. A major substrate of SIRT2 is α-tubulin. JFD00244 inhibits SIRT2 with an IC₅₀ of 56.7 µM. It induces granulocytic differentiation in the acute promyelocytic leukemia cell line NB4 at a concentration of 5 μM.
