Description
KCNB1 (phospho-S805) polyclonal Antibody | BS64353 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Rat,Mouse
Application: WB
Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000
Background: KCNB1, also named as DRK1, KV2.1, and h-DRK1, belongs to the potassium channel family and B (Shab) subfamily. KCNB1 mediates the voltage-dependent potassium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Channels open or close in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, letting potassium ions pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient. The Antibody is specific to KCNB1.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: KCNB1 (phospho-S805) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of KCNB1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser805 .
Molecular Weight: ~ 100 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily B member 1; Delayed rectifier potassium channel 1; DRK1; h-DRK1; Voltage-gated potassium channel subunit Kv2.1; KCNB1
Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human KCNB1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine805.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Phosphorylation
Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
