Description

Keratin 10 Antibody [CTKN10-1] | 33-953 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Mouse

Reactivity: Human, Mouse

Homology: N/A

Immunogen: Recombinant human KRT10 protein was used as the immunogen for the Keratin 10 antibody.

Research Area: Signal Transduction

Tested Application: IF, IHC-P

Application: Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1 ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry (FFPE) : 0.1-0.2 ug/ml for 30 min at RT (1)
Prediluted format : incubate for 30 min at RT (2)
Optimal dilution of the Keratin 10 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

1. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM Citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes
2. The prediluted format is supplied in a dropper bottle and is optimized for use in IHC. After epitope retrieval step (if required) , drip mAb solution onto the tissue section and incubate at RT for 30 min.

BACKGROUND: Keratin-10 is a member of the type I (acidic) cytokeratin family, which belongs to the superfamily of intermediate filament (IF) proteins. Keratins are heteropolymeric structural proteins which form the intermediate filament. These filaments, along with actin microfilaments and microtubules, compose the cytoskeleton of epithelial cells. Mutations in this gene are associated with epidermolytic hyperkeratosis. This gene is located within a cluster of keratin family members on chromosome 17q21. Keratin 10 has been shown to interact with AKT1. [Wiki]
