Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This KLC2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 128-156 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human KLC2.
Cellular Localisation: Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton. Lysosome membrane; Peripheral membrane protein; Cytoplasmic side
Molecular Weight: 68935
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: KLC2 (HGNC:20716)
Gene ID: 64837
Function: Kinesin is a microtubule-associated force-producing protein that plays a role in organelle transport. The light chain functions in coupling of cargo to the heavy chain or in the modulation of its ATPase activity (Probable) . Through binding with PLEKHM2 and ARL8B, recruits kinesin-1 to lysosomes and hence direct lysosomes movement toward microtubule plus ends (PubMed:22172677) .
Summary: N/A
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: IHC-P, FC, WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500 FC--1:10~50
Synonyms: Kinesin light chain 2, KLC 2, KLC2
