Background: KCNC4 (Potassium voltage gated channel subfamily C member 4) belongs to the delayed rectifier class of channel proteins and is an integral membrane protein that mediates the voltage-dependent potassium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Assuming opened or closed conformations in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, the protein forms a potassium-selective channel through which potassium ions may pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: Kv3.4 (R11) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of Kv3.4 protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 70 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily C member 4; KSHIIIC; Voltage-gated potassium channel subunit Kv3.4; KCNC4; KCNC 4
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide, corresponding to the N-terminus of Human KV3.4.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Unmodification
Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
