Application Range: WB 1:500 - 1:2000 IHC 1:50 - 1:200
Background: This gene encodes an enzyme which catalyzes the reversible conversion of lactate and pyruvate, and NAD and NADH, in the glycolytic pathway. Mutations in this gene are associated with lactate dehydrogenase B deficiency. Pseudogenes have been identified on the X chromosome and on chromosome. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: LDHB polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of LDHB protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 37 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: LDH-B; LDH-H; LDHBD; TRG-5; HEL-S-281;
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human LDHB.
