Description
LSS polyclonal Antibody | BS8590 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse
Application: WB
Application Range: WB 1:500 - 1:2000
Background: The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the conversion of (S) -2,3 oxidosqualene to lanosterol. The encoded protein is a member of the terpene cyclase/mutase family and catalyzes the first step in the biosynthesis of cholesterol, steroid hormones, and vitamin D. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: LSS polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of LSS protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 75 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Lanosterol synthase; 2,3-epoxysqualene--lanosterol cyclase; Oxidosqualene--lanosterol cyclase; OSC; hOSC; LSS; OSC
Immunogen: Recombinant full length Human LSS.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Unmodification
Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
