MED19 Antibody (C-term) [APR31709G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This MED19 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 161-188 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human MED19.
Cellular Localisation: Nucleus.
Molecular Weight: 26273
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: MED19
Gene ID: 219541
Function: Component of the Mediator complex, a coactivator involved in the regulated transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. Mediator functions as a bridge to convey information from gene- specific regulatory proteins to the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery. Mediator is recruited to promoters by direct interactions with regulatory proteins and serves as a scaffold for the assembly of a functional preinitiation complex with RNA polymerase II and the general transcription factors.
Summary: N/A
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000
Synonyms: Mediator of RNA polymerase II transcription subunit 19, Lung cancer metastasis-related protein 1, Mediator complex subunit 19, MED19, LCMR1
