Description
Cell-permeable. A macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) antagonist. ISO-1 inhibits MIF pro-inflammatory activities by targeting MIF tautomerase activity. Also inhibits tumor necrosis factor (TNF) release from macrophages isolated from LPS- treated wild type mice but has no effect on cytokine release from MIF deficient macrophages.
MIF-Antagonist, ISO-1 is a macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) antagonist. ISO-1 inhibits MIF pro-inflammatory activities by targeting MIF tautomerase activity.
