Description
MIP-2 (macrophage inflammatory protein-2) is a 69-amino acid CC chemokine originally cloned from LPS-stimulated rat lung. MIP-2 is induced during acute inflammation in rat models of diseases. It is a potent neutrophil chemotactic factor both in vitro and in vivo.
