MPI monoclonal Antibody | MB0150 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Mouse
Reactivity: Human,Rat
Application: WB ICC
Application Range: WB: 1:500~2000 ICC: 1:200~500
Background: Phosphomannose isomerase catalyzes the interconversion of fructose-6-phosphate and mannose-6-phosphate and plays a critical role in maintaining the supply of D-mannose derivatives, which are required for most glycosylation reactions. Mutations in the MPI gene were found in patients with carbohydrate-deficient glycoprotein syndrome, type Ib.Involved in the synthesis of the GDP-mannose and dolichol-phosphate-mannose required for a number of critical mannosyl transfer reactions.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: This Antibody detects endogenous levels of Mannose Phosphate Isomerase and does not cross-react with related proteins
Molecular Weight: Predicted band size:54KDa Observed band size:45KDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Phosphohexomutase; Phosphomannose isomerase; PMI; PMI1; CDG1B
Immunogen: Recombinant full length Human MPI.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Unmodification
Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from mouse ascites by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
