Description
MYO1E Antibody (N-term) [AMM08655G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This MYO1E antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 228-257 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human MYO1E.
Cellular Localisation: Cytoplasm. Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton. Cytoplasmic vesicle. Cytoplasmic vesicle, clathrin-coated vesicle. Cell junction. Note=Colocalizes with F-actin (By similarity) . In cultured podocytes, it localizes close to and is associated with the cytoplasmic membrane, with enrichment at the lamellipodia tips Colocalizes with cytoplasmic vesicles, including endocytic clathrin- coated vesicles. Colocalizes with dynamin at cytoplasmic vesicles
Molecular Weight: 127062
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: MYO1E
Gene ID: 4643
Function: Myosins are actin-based motor molecules with ATPase activity. Unconventional myosins serve in intracellular movements. Their highly divergent tails bind to membranous compartments, which are then moved relative to actin filaments. Binds to membranes containing anionic phospholipids via its tail domain. Required for normal morphology of the glomerular basement membrane, normal development of foot processes by kidney podocytes and normal kidney function. In dendritic cells, may control the movement of class II-containing cytoplasmic vesicles along the actin cytoskeleton by connecting them with the actin network via ARL14EP and ARL14.
Summary: Tissue Location: Expressed in the immune system. In the kidney, predominantly expressed in the glomerulus, including podocytes
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000
Synonyms: Unconventional myosin-Ie, Myosin-Ic, Unconventional myosin 1E, MYO1E, MYO1C
