Application: WB IHC IF
Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:2000 IHC/IF: 1:50~1:200
Background: NCF2, NCF1, and a membrane bound cytochrome b558 are required for activation of the latent NADPH oxidase (necessary for superoxide production) . Defects in NCF2 are a cause of chronic granulomatous disease autosomal recessive cytochrome-b-positive type 2 (CGD2) . Chronic granulomatous disease is a genetically heterogeneous disorder characterized by the inability of neutrophils and phagocytes to kill microbes that they have ingested. Patients suffer from life-threatening bacterial/fungal infections.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: NCF2 polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of NCF2 protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 60 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
