Description
NMS-873 is a potent, selective, allosteric inhibitor of the ATPase VCP/p97 (IC₅₀ = 30 nM). NMS-873 activates the unfolded protein response, interferes with autophagy and induces cancer cell death. NMS-873 also inhibits proliferation of HCT116 cancer cell line cells with an IC₅₀ value of 400 nM.
