Description
OCA2 polyclonal Antibody | BS7656 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human
Application: WB
Application Range: WB 1:500 - 1:2000
Background: This gene encodes the human homologue of the mouse p (pink-eyed dilution) gene. The encoded protein is believed to be an integral membrane protein involved in small molecule transport, specifically tyrosine - a precursor of melanin. Mutations in this gene result in type 2 oculocutaneous albinism.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: OCA2 polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of OCA2 protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 65-80 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
