Description
A natural stilbene and an analogue of Resveratrol (Cat. No. 1758-100, 500). Besides antioxidative effects, piceatannol exhibits potential anticancer properties as shown by its ability to suppress proliferation of a wide variety of tumor cells, including leukemia, lymphoma; cancers of the breast, prostate, colon and melanoma. Also inhibits JAK-1 and Syk kinase; blocks adipogenesis of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes in a dose-dependent manner. Also a SRT1 activator.
