Background: PLDA1/2 (phospholipase D alpha 1/2) is an enzyme which hydrolyzes glycerol-phospholipids at the terminal phosphodiesteric bond and plays an important tole in processes as phytochormone action and response to stress. This protein is highly expressed in roots, stems and flowers, moderately in leaves, seedlings and siliques. Not detected in seeds. Induced by ABA, ethylene, heavy metal, cold, salt and osmotic stresses. Alternative names:PLDalpha1, PLD alpha 1, Choline phosphatase 1 PLDalpha, Phosphatidylcholine-hydrolyzing phospholipase D 1, Choline phosphatase 2, Phosphatidylcholine-hydrolyzing phospholipase D 2, PLDalpha2, PLD alpha 2.

Reconstitution: For reconstitution add 50 µl of sterile water

Storage: Store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
