Background: The protein phosphatase (PP) holoenzyme is a trimeric complex composed of a regulatory subunit, a variable subunit and a catalytic subunit. Four major families of protein phosphatase catalytic subunits have been identified, designated PP1, PP2A, PP2B (calcineurin) and PP2C. An additional protein phosphatase catalytic subunit, PPX (also known as PP4) is a putative member of a novel PP family.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: PPP4C polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of PPP4C protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 35 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 4 catalytic subunit; PP4C; Pp4; Protein phosphatase X; PP-X; PPP4C; PPP4; PPX
