Background: SARNP (SAP domain-containing ribonucleoprotein), also known as CIP29 (Cytokine-induced protein of 29 kDa) and HCC1 (Nuclear protein Hcc-1), is a 210 amino acid nuclear protein whose expression is upregulated by erythropoietin. Induction of SARNP expression is associated with cell cycle progression and apoptosis. This transcription factor binds both single stranded (ss) and double stranded (ds) DNA, though it has higher affinity for ssDNA. SARNP is expressed at low levels in pancreas, spleen, testis, liver, kidney, heart and thymus, and is found to be expressed at higher levels in pancreatic adenocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma.

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: SARNP polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of SARNP protein.

Molecular Weight: ~ 29 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: SAP domain-containing ribonucleoprotein; Cytokine-induced protein of 29 kDa; Nuclear protein Hcc-1; Proliferation-associated cytokine-inducible protein CIP29; Synonyms: HCC1; ORF Names: HSPC316

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide, corresponding to amino acids 165-210 of Human SARNP.

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Unmodification

Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
