Description

SNRPD1 Antibody (C-term) [APR05085G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies

Host: Rabbit

Species Reactivity: H

Specificity: This SNRPD1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 69-98 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human SNRPD1.

Cellular Localisation: Cytoplasm, cytosol. Nucleus. Note=SMN- mediated assembly into core snRNPs occurs in the cytosol before SMN- mediated transport to the nucleus to be included in spliceosomes

Molecular Weight: 13282

Clone: Polyclonal

Gene Name: SNRPD1

Gene ID: 6632

Function: Plays a role in pre-mRNA splicing as a core component of the spliceosomal U1, U2, U4 and U5 small nuclear ribonucleoproteins (snRNPs), the building blocks of the spliceosome (PubMed:11991638, PubMed:18984161, PubMed:19325628, PubMed:23333303, PubMed:25555158, PubMed:26912367, PubMed:28502770, PubMed:28781166, PubMed:28076346) . Component of both the pre-catalytic spliceosome B complex and activated spliceosome C complexes (PubMed:11991638, PubMed:26912367, PubMed:28502770, PubMed:28781166, PubMed:28076346) . Is also a component of the minor U12 spliceosome (PubMed:15146077) . May act as a charged protein scaffold to promote snRNP assembly or strengthen snRNP-snRNP interactions through non-specific electrostatic contacts with RNA (Probable) .

Summary: N/A

Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.

Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Application: IHC-P, FC, WB

Dilution: WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500 FC--1:10~50

Synonyms: Small nuclear ribonucleoprotein Sm D1, Sm-D1, Sm-D autoantigen, snRNP core protein D1, SNRPD1
