TRAIL (S63) polyclonal Antibody | BS2007 | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human

Application: IHC IF

Application Range: IHC: 1:50~1:200 IF: 1:50~1:200

Background: Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) -related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL), also referred to as Apo2 ligand, first identified based on its sequence homology to TNF and Fas/Apo ligand is a member of the TNF family of cytokines and either exists as a type II membrane or soluble protein. TRAIL induces apoptosis in a variety of transformed cell lines and plays a role in anti-tumor and anti-viral immune surveillance. TRAIL signals via binding with death receptors DR4 (TRAIL-R1) (4) and DR5 (TRAIL-R2) which can trigger apoptosis as well as NF-κB activation.

Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: TRAIL (S63) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of TRAIL protein.

Molecular Weight: ~34 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Alternative Names: TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand; Protein TRAIL; Apo-2 ligand; Apo-2L; CD253 antigen; TRAIL; 8743; TNFSF10; 603598; P50591; APO2L; Apo-2L; TL2; TRAIL;

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide, corresponding to amino acids 50-100 of Human TRAIL.

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Unmodification

Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
