Description
TRAM2 Antibody (C-term) [AMM08323G] | Gentaur UK, US & Europe Distribution
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This TRAM2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 342-370 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human TRAM2.
Cellular Localisation: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein
Molecular Weight: 43328
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: TRAM2
Gene ID: 9697
Function: Necessary for collagen type I synthesis. May couple the activity of the ER Ca (2+) pump SERCA2B with the activity of the translocon. This coupling may increase the local Ca (2+) concentration at the site of collagen synthesis, and a high Ca (2+) concentration may be necessary for the function of molecular chaperones involved in collagen folding. Required for proper insertion of the first transmembrane helix N-terminus of TM4SF20 into the ER lumen, may act as a ceramide sensor for regulated alternative translocation (RAT) (PubMed:27499293) .
Summary: N/A
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB, IHC-P
Dilution: WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500
Synonyms: Translocating chain-associated membrane protein 2, TRAM2, KIAA0057
