Description

Human CellExp™ Vitronectin (His Tag, Active), Mouse Recombinant | P1754

Description: Vitronectin is a cell adhesion and spreading factor found in serum and tissues. Vitronectin interacts with glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, and functions as a regulator of diverse physiological processes such as blood coagulation and cell attachment and spreading. The molecule can be recognized by certain integrin family members and serves as a cell-to-substrate adhesion molecule. Vitronectin also inhibits the membrane-damaging effect of the complement pathway. Due to its many diverse functions, vitronectin is implicated in coronary atherosclerosis, hemostasis, and tumor malignancy.
