Description
MCA-YVADAP-K(Dnp)-OH is a fluorogenic substrate for caspase-1 and angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2). Upon cleavage by caspase-1 or ACE2, 7-methoxycoumarin-4-acetyl (MCA) is released and its fluorescence can be used to estimate enzyme activity. MCA displays excitation/emission maxima of 328/420 nm, respectively.
